Although the Farmers Market season has ended for 2008, you can still purchase our farm products through Tomato Tomato located at 156th & West Center Road in Omaha. Tomato Tomato is open Monday through Saturday from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM.

SUBSCRIPTION CSA

In 2009, we will have a Subscription CSA in addition to our sales through the Farmers Market, Tomato Tomato,  and the Nebraska Food Cooperative. Subscribers will receive a subscription of farm fresh produce each week for twelve weeks beginning in May. The assortment of produce will vary throughout the season and will contain a wide variety ranging from gourmet salad mixes to tomatoes, new potatoes to green onions, peas to green beans, cucumbers to spinach, and squash to peppers. Our subscribers will be our priority customers, and we will endeavor to provide them with the "first pick" from our gardens, giving them the best we have to offer.

Subscribers may purchase a subscription for $25.00 per week. The full subscription fee of $300.00 can be paid upon registration, or subscribers can make a non-refundable $100.00 deposit at registration, with the remaining balance due by May 1, 2009. An all natural, free range chicken egg subscription of a dozen eggs per week for twelve weeks may be purchased for an additional $4.00 per week. Again, payment is due by May 1st. These are Large, Grade A, Candled Eggs. They are beautifully colored (blue, green, tan, brown etc.) Araucana/Americana and Plymouth Rock chicken eggs with bright yellow yolks and firm whites. Delicious!

Subscribers may pick up their produce on Saturday, between 8:00 AM & Noon, during the twelve week subscription season at the Village Pointe Farmers Market (168th & West Dodge Road). For more information, click here!

 

PUREBRED BERKSHIRE FEEDER PIGS FOR SALE

We currently have purebred Berkshire feeder pigs, out of registered purebred breeding stock, for sale. Berkshires are a heritage breed of swine that produce gourmet pork. The meat is marbled like beef, and is the finest tasting pork there is! Our feeder pigs are pre-conditioned (castrated and wolf teeth clipped) and can be vaccinated at your request. These pigs were farrowed and raised outdoors in portable huts. They are hardy and do very well in hot or cold weather with simple housing. Availability is limited.
